The need for a successful and sustainable business environment for senior nutrition program professionals has been evolving rapidly in recent years. More and more, particularly with the onset of the COVID-19 public health emergency, a strong business acumen is necessary for nutrition program survival. This year, the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA) examined the training and technical assistance needs of senior nutrition program staff across the country to inform the development of ongoing training. This webinar reviewed the results of the national survey. Presenters discussed key business drivers for senior nutrition programs and opportunities for future training. Attendees participated in an introductory session on how to conduct a market analysis – one of the key training needs expressed by senior nutrition program survey participants.
